I would like to thank the members of the club who responded to the invite in the last newsletter, and who were at my birthday party last night.
Thank you so much for your cards, and your kind thoughts.

I'm glad that so many of you enjoyed the performance by Sarah Reed (www.sarahreed.moonfruit.com/). I thought she gave a great performance.
It would be nice if she could make it up to play a gig in Norwich with her band. She's now working on her third album, so who knows - there could be a possibilty of that in the future.

Also, THANKS so much for the raffle prizes - we had about 29 raffle prizes on the night, which I'm pleased to inform you that you helped towards raising £75.00 for our friends Keith & Lyz at the Hallswood Animal Sanctuary (www.hallswood.co.uk/). You guys are real Stars!!!

it was a nice relaxing evening johnny thanks for inviting tina and me along we really enjoyed sarahs singing not my usual type of music but i did find it very soothing and the song about her cat really struck a chord with us as it could have been put to any pet u loved .and made us both think of our lurcher mindy who we lost 2 years ago.
we have bought both albums and will be listening to them in the car on our way to the dog walks.and if we visit our daughter amie in the summer we may catch up with sarah ,as amie is studying at canterbury at kent uni .
