Yes, I know they're disgusting, but our whippets just love pigs ears! They do seem to be quite expensive though - especially if bought in supermarkets, or at the pet superstores. Our gery's will chew on pigs ears for ages - very good if you want them to well behaved! ;D I have found the best value ones around are at a small pet store in Aylsham, that sells them at 10 for £4.00 (ie 40p each). By contrast, our local supermarket sells them at 4 for £2.99 (ie-75p each), just because they're in a fancy packet! So, check out your local pet store, and compare costs, as we're increasingly finding that some of the local small pet shops can be very competitive in their prices.

Our Spohie loves pigs ears too! your right about the small pet shops, I always get ours from a small pet shop round the corner, I have to search for the biggest ones though... small ones don't last 2 minutes with Sophie!... that reminds me... another post coming up in the health section....

I can't believe youl'd pay that much! Lenny, my greyhound loves them too and I get him 5 for a pound from my local pet shop, and a roll of pig skin for 99p
