Anyone got any new music they've discovered and want to share? I'm loving Newton Faulkner at the moment, off to see him at the UEA soon. I also love love love Jack Savoretti, who is the best find for me for this year. They're both fabulous chillout music sung from the soul. I'm off to see Alter Bridge in London on Tuesday - they were called Creed but dumped their really rubbish lead singer and got a brilliant new one called Myles Kennedy. Am also off to see Seth Lakeman at the Waterfront in October. Stuart - do you like 30 Seconds to Mars as I'm LOVIN them!! Rock n roll! SJx

Here's an interesting twist to my musical encounters.... I've recently met someone from America and she's a true country girl and has been sharing some of her musical tastes!! Surprisingly not too bad!! Been listening to Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts! Not so Rock and Roll but still nice to broaden one's horizons!

Here's a very amateur clip on Youtube - But what a powerful voice. Yes, it's the one-and-only, the wonderful..............KYLER ENGLAND. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vMhahek8NUHere's another. It looks like Kyler's playing in the corner of someone's living room this time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G-GO4HSBlEThis young lady is awesome. For goodness sake - she deserves far better venues than that. Come to the Queen Charlotte Kyler - S-J will support you! Rock on Kyler! Oh, I've just found one more. This is one for you S-J. It's Dar and her band (the same line-up we saw at Bedford last year), performing at the Bearsville Theatre. This presumably is a track from Dar's forthcoming live DVD: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4j5ms5f6hI
