GREYHOUND REMEMBRANCE DAY SUNDAY 22nd JULY ST. NICHOLAS CHURCH - GT. YARMOUTH, NORFOLK.
PLEASE JOIN US AT THIS CHURCH BLESSING, PROCESSION, AND MEMORIAL EVENT, WHICH IS BEING HELD ON BEHALF OF, AND IN MEMORY OF, THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF GREYHOUNDS WHO HAVE BEEN DISPOSED OF BY THE GREYHOUND RACING INDUSTRY.
Sunday 22 July – St Nicholas Church, Church Plain, Northgate Street, Yarmouth (opposite Market).
1.30pm Meet at St. Nicholas Church. 2.00pm Service and Church Blessing for rescued greyhounds/dogs 2.30 - 2.40pm Remembrance Procession with dogs leaves St. Nicholas Church. 3.00pm Act of Commitment near to sea front (across from the Old Art School). Procession returns to St. Nicholas Church.
PLEASE BRING FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND YOUR RESCUED GREYHOUNDS/DOGS WITH YOU, TOGETHER WITH BANNERS, POSTERS, AND PLACARDS.
THIS IS AN INTERNATIONAL MEMORIAL WEEKEND, WHICH WILL BE COVERED WORLDWIDE, TO HIGHLIGHT HOW THESE DOGS ARE USED AS DISPOSABLE COMMODITIES.
