think iv rumbled something about poppy and her nervous walks i got to thinking she will walk from the door across to the car and she will get out of the car to go across to the house but when i take her to the castle field she refuses to get out of the car today being sunday i took her to an industrial estate as there would be no one working its quite built up with lots of factory units when we got ther she got straight out and walked lovely even to the point of pulling a little she usualy hangs back we did ten minutes then got back in the car and drove further round again she got straight out and had a walk , so next we drove to the castle and parked at the back car park again this is qi=uite built up with trees lining the paths she got out and walked all around the paths and then we walked up a little slope to the field when she saw the field in front of her the brakes whent on is poppys problem a fear of open spaces i wonder was she kept in a cage at the tracks and only ever saw the tracks i may be wrong but i think she may be agraphobic if any one else is experiencing this with there dogtry doing the same and i would love to hear the results i am going to carry this on with poppy as today is the best and longest outing she has had since i took her on last august

poppy is a different dog we went out last night first to the cemetery as shes not to bad there as theres never anyone about she did so well we decided to try the dreaded field at the casstle where she refuses to get out of the car baily got out but poppy was a little hesitent so it took a few minutes to encourage her but once out off the car she was really good she did the full circuit of the field head up tail up but the amazing thing was the field wasnt empty there were dogs and children every where she noticed them but coped with it best thing i ever did was to get a second dog
