Susie has been with us at Eastern Counties RGT since 2008 in our kennels at Meadow Green, Hales. She was brought to the RGT as her owner died. Susie had lived with this owner for five years. She was an unhappy little girl when she first came to us but time and patience have helped her come to terms with events. She now desperately needs a home as despite lots of walks and cuddles and her own kennel and heat lamp she is finding life since returning to kennels a harsh reality to bear. We believe she is being overlooked in part because of her age (DOB Aug 2000) but also because she doesn't get on particularly well with other dogs, and cats are a no. She has been very used to a routine and likes to take herself to bed and then be left to sleep. She can be grumpy if disturbed from her sleep like the rest of us and therefore we would not home her to a family with children. Otherwise she is a very affectionate dog and very popular with staff at the kennels. She does love to jump up to give you a cuddle. Ignoring the graying muzzle of her advancing years she is a brindle pregnant dog. This dog at the moment has a life sentence in kennels. If anyone knows of a quiet home that she could spend her days please contact us 0845 602 2658. Any potential Adopter would be subject to home checking but the usual RGT arrangements would apply whereby you will be provided with a collar, lead, muzzle, 4 weeks pet plan insurance and her vaccinations, flea treatment and wormers are up to date. This is a special little lady who needs to get back to a home. Thank you for reading about Susie.
