I have been in touch with Ann of the Mildenhall branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust, and have "booked" us in for their show on the 17th April. Kitty & I will be taking along a Gazeebo, and a paste table and some flyers, and will be doing a bit of promotion on the day. This will enable our GeryNuts to have a focal point when attending the show, and volunteers are being sought - to enable Kitty, myself, and our hounds to have a wander around throughout the course of the day. Please feel free to email me if you can help out. This looks like being potentially a very good day out. They will be running various classes in a charity fundraising dog show. We're really looking forward to it.

This is now our next gathering and probably our best opportunity to gain possible new m.embers!
I know Johnny & Kitty will be there with our new banner, badges and T-shirt! Hopefully raising some funds for the club.
Our newest official m.ember George will be there too with his 3 Year old (Retired for wanting to play) Greyhound!
Good luck guys, I hope it all goes well, don't forget the camera as we want more photos in the Gery Photo Booth!

That was a really nice day, Soooooooooooooo many Gerys! All looking really happy, it was really nice. Munchy with her tassles has made me place an order with Kamas Cave! So Sophie can look Pretty too! Shame about the Judging though... we all know our Gery's are the best! : : I've posted some pictures in the photo booth, if anyone else has any make sure you put them up!

Yes, it was a nice day. Kitty, myself, and our two babies enjoyed it, and was pleased to see so many GeryNuts (and potential GeryNuts) turn up. We were really pleased with Lizzy (aka Sugar), who at the end of the day came 4th in the "Scurry" event. That was quite impressive for something that she'd never done before, and we were really pleased with her. Perhaps she done so well cos she could see the giant pork pie "daddy" was holding at the end of the line - too bad "daddy" had eaten it in the 3.10 seconds it took her to reach us! Did anyone else have a photo of their dog/dogs taken, by the professional photographer there? We had a pic of Star & Sugar done, and it came out superb - it's now framed and on the wall.

I have just seen the good news about the show last Sunday - It raised £1,120 for the Mildenhall Homefinders. Good for the Gerys. Kitty & I look forward to attending their sponsored walk on 22nd May! : :
