The 4th Wattisham Steam & Bygones Fete will be held on Saturday 9th July, at Wattisham Hall, Suffolk, from 10am.
Although this is not an "official" club day out - some members might find it an interesting.
Kitty & I will be attending this event with our trade stall (military collectables).
We have a 24ft pitch at our disposal, and were thinking about how we could have a "gery" orientated angle as well.
As the location of the event is not really in our "catchment area" for our club, I don't think it appropriate to push the club too heavily at the Fete.
However, another idea sprung to mind - and I have contacted the good people at the Mildenhall Homefinders, to see if they would like a stall there on the day. If they do decide to do the event (which I believe could be beneficial for them), we could have a few leaflets alongside their information booklets etc - just in case we get someone interested in our club, that lives closer to Norwich.
I will be posting further info about the event, closer to the day.
