The people at Norfolk Hedgehog Rescue are holding a fundraising open day at Erpingham, Norfolk, on Saturday 16th July, from 10am-4pm.
This would not be an "official" Gery outing, but I thought I'd mention it - as it seemed like a very interesting event to attend.
I've phoned the lady who runs the rescue centre (ie - her house!), and we would be most welcome to attend with our dogs, so long as you keep them on leads. At the moment they have some 26 Hedgehogs that have been rescued, including a few babies.
Directions: Travelling from Norwich on the A140 in the direction of Cromer, go past Aylsham, and travel on approximately four miles. The turning to Erpingham is on the left, just before you get to Alby Crafts Centre. It will be signposted from the road on the day. For further details please contact Sandra Craft on 01263-761577.

Kitty & I (along with the hounds) called in at this event today. They seemed to have quite a few people turn up in the afternoon, and it was nice to see the baby hedgehogs. Sugar put her nose a bit too close but soon drew it away when she felt those prickles! I don't know how well they done - but things seemed to be going well. I even managed to pick up a bargain - a WW2 Royal Navy kit bag for 50p! Let's hope they done well, and I do wish them every luck with their important work.
