Ok Johnny, me and Robbo are gonna gang up on you and find a nice day out for all us members to come over this way!! I think its only fair that we have a day where we don't have to travel sooo much, not that we mind! Robbo had a good idea of a nice place, but I forgot where he said it was! So i'm gonna wait for Robbo to post it here to see what we all think?

OK, here's the suggestion - What about we try to do a promotional stint at Gt. Yarmouth's new Pets-at-Home store, and then have a walk at North Denes afterwards. I think that was the area Rob was suggesting? Kitty, myself, Sugar and Burnley will happily come out and dish out some leaflets with you East Coastfolks! The best time could be late May-late June. Should be nice and sunny then!

Fine by us as we're halfway between Norwich and the coast

Sounds good to me, and Tel's up for it. The Pets at Home gig could be really good. How about trying to bring in Yarmouth Homefinders as well? They're having great success in rehoming - I think all those advertised have been found new homes. The walk I mentioned to Stuart is further up the coast, at Winterton. The area is a nature reserve, so dogs may have to be on leads - I'll check that out next time I go, but it's a real mixture of high dunes, ponds, heather and tall grass. However, the big bonus is the Fisherman's Return. A dog friendly pub with good beer and excellent food

Oh I love Winterton...we are going up there in Feb. Are there any events round then? No events that I know of - It's far too cold! You'll have to plan a meet-up with some of us though, when you are visiting the area. On the other front - We'll definately see if we can do a bit of promotion in Gt. Yarmouth. Someone will have to have a friendly chat with the manager at "Pets-at-Home" to see if they are prepared to accommodate us with this request. Anyone goes into the Yarmouth "Pets-at-Home" store, who would be willing to do this?

I checked out Winterton Nature Reserve and it says dogs should be 'on a lead or under close supervision'. It's a nesting site and the birds build them on the ground, also there are 'fragile ecosystems', so I don't know whether that puts people off or not. The beach is close by, obviously, so the dogs could let off steam there if they can't be closely supervised. Is it possible to closely supervise a sight hound? Anyway, let me know what you think.

'Probably not' would be my answer to that one, pmsl..
