This Sunday sees our club having a stall at the Fun Dog Show, at the Dogs Trust at Snetterton. I have copied and pasted the details below from their site. The event opens at 11am, andjudging starts at 12.00:
"FAMILY FUN WITH YOUR FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS"
Dogs and dog lovers are in for a real treat on Sunday June 11, as Dogs Trust Snetterton Rehoming Centre hosts this year’s Open Day and Fun Dog Show.
Classes for the Fun Dog Show include Best Footballer, Egg & Spoon Race, Waggiest Tail, Best Oldie (for dogs over 8 years of age), Prettiest pregnant dog, Handsomest Dog, and of course Best ex-Dogs Trust Dog or pregnant dog, the class for dogs who have been rehomed from Dogs Trust.
There will also be a special “Judge’s Secret Category,” where only the judge knows what he’s looking for! The final category of the day will be Best In Show, where the winner of each class gets to show off their rosette.
The agility course will also be open for dogs who want to try their paw at something new, and for experienced dogs to show off their skills.
Other highlights of the day include a Prison Dog display team, Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award Testing, giant tombola, raffle, trade stands, refreshments including tea tent and home-made cakes and a burger van, as well as loads of fun and games for the whole family."

I would like to those of you who turned up for this event. It was a MASSIVELY successful show. We had lots of enquiries, and had interest from other stallholders (wanting pitches at our dog show). We also got two family groups join up, there and then on the day - so on behalf of all of us - we welcome them to our club. We dished out over 300 flyers to people visiting the show - advertising our coming show on 9th July. The Dogs Trust were kind enough to mention us three times over their PA system, and to "plug" our coming show. The day was very hot and dry, but there was a hose pipe there for washing down your hounds to keep them cool. All-in-all - a very successful day out PS - After even more exposure to the sun - Sara's really looking like a lobster now though!
