Mildenhall Homefinders are holding a dog show on Sunday 6th May. PLEASE NOTE: You're spoilt for choice on May 6th - This is the same day as the unofficial "Bark-in-the-Park". It's entirely down to each individual members to decide which one they wish to attend. Sara, Julian, Cam & Amanda will be at the Newmarket show. Please consider offering them a hand with dishing out leaflets, if you're attending. Johnny & Kitty will be at Earlham Park to cover the "Bark-in-the-Park". For further details on the RGT show at Newmarket, and where it's being held, please check out the link below: mildenhall.retiredgreyhounds.org/index.asp?pageid=7

Is there anyone (a member) going to this show, who'd volunteer to take along a gazebo and the club banner? If so, please email me on jrwcollectables@aol.com

Just to let you know we all had a lovely day at the Mildenhall RGT Greyhound Gala today - and it was so much easier to find at Newmarket! We came away with a few rosettes too Pixie got a 2nd in 'Black Beauties' which we are really pleased with especially as it was a big class and she's never been thought of as a beauty - well only to us Pixie and Palace got a joint 2nd in 'Greyhound that lives with a cat' and we provided photographic evidence of the dogs and cat eating out of the same bowl Ben took mum and dad's Whippet, Sky, in the 'Junior Handler' and got a 2nd there too Sky then got a 2nd in 'Best Rescue' Judge was possibly swayed with the story of Sky's rescue - see profiles page to see her story. Then finally a FIRST!!!! Sky won the 'Fancy Dress' class The site was right next door to Tesco's which was really handy as we sent dad over for wine, cider and bakewell tarts pmsl
