So here I am again with my bi-monthly report of injuries to our Greyhound Sophie! Sophie must be the most injury prone dog around, if she was a racer she would have been retired before she had even raced!!! So this time as some will know already she has had to have her dew claw removed, because she thought she was David Beckham and tried to play football (she actually seemed to have better ball control than Beckham!) when she tried to intercept a pin point pass from me to BB she caught her claw on the ball and broke it!!! £220 later she is still in a bandage! This is Sophie on the Sponsored walk: She did very well and really enjoyed herself, but look what the vet did to her today... How PINK is that, good job she weren't some matcho Staffie!! BB thinks it looks cute!

She had been a little pain over the weekend... she took a great disliking to the pink bandage and pulled it off!
Her leg looks so red and sore, she isn't chewing at it, just licking at it a lot, the stitches are coming out wednesday so hopefully she will be ok, she really is a little miss!

Well the stitches came out this morning... and I wanted to take her out for a run but the vet said we had better leave it another few days as it's only 90% healed. Poor Sophie!!! Still she will be out and about soon enough

I'm sure she'll be fine soon & probably cant wait for her next run out bless her. I remember when Pixie had stiches after her toe was amputated, they took an age to heal properly but when they eventually did heal she was running around like nothing was missing! I find that very strange
