What a great day out we had today. The sun was shining, and the Gery's (and their families) had a wonderful time. The Roman town was interesting to walk around. They had some scaffolding up around some part of the walls - as they are currently undergoing some restoration, probably to stop them from further damage. We went on to Whitlingham Lake where we all had a picnic in the shade, and where the following pic was taken: Our "Lizzy" (aka "Sugar") was very lazy, and took to laying in her daddy's arms - and that was before the walk! (Is that "mothering" or not, BB?) The photo below is of pretty Nancy, who belongs to club GeryNuts David & Sharon. What a lovely girl: After the walk (and the silly pebble skimming contest on the lake!) some wanted to take their shoes off and have a paddle - Gery's included. Lizzy swam for the first time today as well!

We would like to say a great big Thankyou to Johnny and Kitty for organizing a fantastic day out . We all had a lovely time. Harry has been asleep since we got home. And as for the pepple skimming contest, i look forward to a rematch . Nice to see our Gerynut freinds again. The Howe family and Harry.

.............................. And as for the pepple skimming contest, i look forward to a rematch ............... Yep - I'm up for that. It was a very close thing. You'd better get in some practise Mark, cos next time my pebbles are going to bounce and skim so well - they'll probably bounce over the "Swan-Cams"!
