Below are a couple of photos taken at the Norfolk & Suffolk Animal Trust's kennels at Gt. Yarmouth. The club handed over a cheque to the value of £350.00, which was the result of this year's sponsored walk. The Trust, which is run by a very dedicated team of volunteers were very pleased with the donation, and have passed on their thanks. Their kennels used to be the Police stray dog pound, and it's been brought up to date over the past few years. They have 8 kennels in total, and usually accomodate about6-10 dogs. Obviously, a great number of these tend to be greyhounds, some of which are abuse cases, and have pitiful stories to tell. However, the dogs we saw looked friendly, and loving, and I would strongly recommend you contacting the Trust if you wish to offer a loving home to a greyhound.
