Check the link out below. It's to the RSPCA website, and a petition they've got going at the moment. I have often said - how I prefer dogs to humans most of the time, and I've often felt bad saying that. But when I read stories of people going out - and sticking large fish hooks through dogs muzzles, and using them as bait for shark fishing - I feel somewhat vindicated! It never ceases to amaze me how evil human beings can be ...................................................................................... www.rspca.org.uk/servlet/Satellite?pagename=RSPCA/RSPCARedirect&pg=sharkbait

so why do you wanna look at it? The RSPCA are gimps anyway, I've called them out four times now and on no occasion have they helped 1. I found a poisoned crow, they sais they'd come and pick it up...they ever came 2. There was a budgie trapped in the roof of a bus station, they said they'd ring me back in 10mins to tell me what was happening...they never did 3. I found a very sick lurcher while out walking with mine, they said they were buisy and to just open my front door and let it go! Which I didn't, I took it to a full local rescue centre who made spaced for it, turned out it had been poisoned and would have died within 1 more hr if they hadn't have taken it to the vet 4. I found an abandoned baby hedgehog, they again said they'd pick it up...they didn't Plus, out of 7 dog rehomeing centres in my area, they're the only ones who put healthy dogs down when they can't get a home...even after just 3months! There are dogs in the centre I work at that have been in for nearly 2yrs now!

Well, I must admit - You have a point here. The RSPCA can be less than professional on occassion. I know of a genuine case, where a person was prosecuted for animal cruelty, and the case was completely groundless, and was not researched properly. As such, the case fell apart in court. The crazy thing was though - That even though the RSPCA was in the wrong - the innocent party were asked to pay the court fees - cos the court didn't want to bill it to a charity! Well ............... strange things happen, and even stranger things happen - especially in Norfolk my friends!

Personally my dealings with the rspca have always been good. But U know different areas, different branches, I have heard bad things now and again, but like I always say- there are two sides of the coin. Not a nice ad, but i have seen worse. Not because i have looked but now and again u stumble across these things. When we first were looking into getting a rescue greyhound, some of the sites we went on to find a gery had some terrible cruelty cases. So Pictures like that I don't find that surprising- it's sad to say but there are some very sick people out there!!!
