I have read in most dog books that Greyhounds can reach speeds of up to 50mph...but it this true??? My Lenny can go about that (and he's 10). I have a friend who races Greyhound (but keeps them afterwards, and gives all he wins to Greyhound rehomeing centres). At the minuit all he has is an old boy who is retired and 11yrs old now. When he raced, aged 8 he beat the puppy derby champ, aged 10 this dog beat the Canadian national champ (he won 40,000 on that race)...amongst many other wins. The other week this dog escaped from my friends garden and was caught on local speed cameras doing 69mph! Is this possible...well it must bee because I've seen the CCTV footage! But is he just the fastest Greyhound that ever lived or are their others out there who can do this?

I bet that dog was a cheetah in a greyhound costume! Did he get a speeding ticket? He definately would have done if it would have been in Norfolk!

There's no way a greyhound can run that fast... is there?

There's no way a greyhound can run that fast... is there? Our two must move at that speed - especially when they hear the words "TEA TIME!"
