What a fantastic night we had last night! American singer/songwriter Rachael Sage had visited Norwich as part of her UK tour. Thanks to Kitty & S-J for helping me to make the plans a reality. S-J done a great job opening for Rachael, and I've noticed how her voice has come on well. I noted she was really rocking it on the last three songs! Here's some photos of our own dear S-J:

Rachael came on a little after 9pm, and was on top form. This lady is so talented, and by the time you're listening to her second song, you realise that you're witnessing one of America's finest songwriters, with a style and uniqueness all to herself. Rachael also has a great way of interacting with the audience, which made for a very good natured gig. Thanks to all Gery club members who came along. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Here's some photos of Rachael below:

Here's some photos of us with Rachael, after the gig. She was a good laugh, and it was a great pleasure meeting her. When she's completed her UK tour, she's off to play several dates in Japan. The best of luck to her:

RACHAEL SAGE SIGNED MY UNDERPANTS!RACHAEL SAGE SIGNED MY UNDERPANTS!RACHAEL SAGE SIGNED MY UNDERPANTS!Yes, it's true. I'd better explain myself. The day before the gig, we'd met up with Rachael and Meredith her hard-working tour manageress. They were intrigued by how Kitty & I made a living (selling military memorabilia), and Rachael invited me to bring along some of our own stuff to sell, alongside her CD's. So...............Just for a laugh - I brought along a pair of 1955 British Army underpants! She was a great sport, and proceeded to cover them in typical Rachael artwork, and signed them for me as well - a true collector's item! It was the first time she'd ever signed a pair of army underpants. Below: The infamous pants!
