The North Norfolk Railway will be holding their annual 1940's weekend this Saturday and Sunday 17th-18th September, at their line which runs between Sheringham and Holt. They have the stations decked out in 1940's attire, and have steam engines puffing up and down the line. Johnny & Kitty will have their trade stall at the Holt end of the line, selling militaria and collectables. Star and Sugar will be there too. The NNR are quite a dog-friendly organisation, and even allow dogs on their trains (fare - £1 per dog). On a good day - this can be a really nice day out for the kids and the family, because everyone seems to love the nostalgia of the steam trains.
