Please be aware that there is a new and very convincing spoof email circulating, purporting to be from eBay, but instead is after your password to get to your details. Although there's nothing new in that (I hear you say) - there is in the latest method they are using. They are actually going through, and using eBay's dispute thread. You then receive a message related to a dispute on an item you have bought or sold. I only was aware of it's falseness when I clicked on a link, and it asked me to sign into eBay. The problem was - I already WAS signed into eBay, so there would have been no reason for me to sign in again! This is a very devious and cunning fraud, and is VERY CONVINCING. Please make sure that you're signed into eBay first, before you start opening emails purporting to be from eBay. If you click on a link, which asks you to sign in again - you can be 100% sure it's a fraudulant email.
I have informed eBay's customer service about this, and have recommended that they inform all eBay users about it, as it's a newly refined method being employed by the fraudsters.

Thanks Johnny, I had an email supposedly from PAYPAL the other day telling me that someone had deposited money into my account. Click 'here' and all that.... I didn't even go there. As if someone would accidently put money into my paypal account I wish You have to have your wits about you these days Tracey
