The WW2 Seething Control Tower Museum will be open this Sunday (21st Oct) as part of the Chet Valley 2007 Festival. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Kitty & I will be there with our two, probably in the afternoon (about 2pm?) The museum houses wartime memorabilia and is situated on the old Seething airfield, off the B1332, 9 miles SE of Norwich. The airfield is located to the south of Seething. We took mum & dad along, and we all had a nice afternoon out. The bus that was transporting people between Loddon and Seething, was an old Route Master red bus - of the type you used to see in the 1960's-early 70's (a real "On The Buses" bus!). That bus really took me back to my childhood, and I so enjoyed having a look around it. It was one of those open-backed buses, where you could jump on. Just think what a field day the Health and Safety fanatics would have with that nowadays! The afternoon was quite sunny, and it was nice to see a few aircraft from the Flying Club, taking off and landing. We all had a nice cup of tea, and Sugar ended up, paws in the air, on daddy's lap - as she usually does!
