Hi everyone My name's Sara (obviously) & I've just found this website - & boy what a find!!! I was only looking on the norwich search site to see if my webpage is now listed and there you were nearby as another new listing - lucky me! I'm married to Julian, have a son & a daughter & 2 greyhounds called Pixie & Palace. Cant post pics of them tho as I haven't got a clue how to... Pixie is an ex-racer, retired through injury, bless her, & Palace never really made it to the track, luckily for her! Anyway, I've just spend all bloody night looking at your messages when I was supposed to be doing other things - I feel like I know you all already Looks like you've got yourselves another GeryNut here, I look forward to meeting you all at meetings & walks etc... now where was that post that told me when that was gonna be... P.S - We're mad Norwich City fans too : :

Welcome to our wonderful world ;D How old are your gerys? What colours are they? Do you know Pixies race history? If not you could always try the database in the links bit if you have her ear tattoo. At least Stuarts got another football fan to talk to as he gets lonely in the sport bit. BB is the mad one not me I'm normal

Thanks for the welcome. You all appear perfectly normal to me! We've looked up Pixie's history, she ran in 16 races (I think, can't quite rem.ember off the top of my head) but she broke her hock and has a metal pin in her leg now She's also had an accident since retirement where a toe had to be amputated so she's only really got 2 good legs now, bless her heart. She can still beat Palace on the move though... Palace is sometimes a bit clumbersome when running which is probably why she wasn't raced. We dont know any of her history, I've tried looking up her tattoo but with no luck at present. Pixie however can be traced right back to.. was it Snowball in 1781? got to look that up too now Oh yeah - Pixie's black and Palace is fawn. There's a link through to my webpage, take a look. I'm a driving instructor and run Sara's School of Motoring. You MUST wave if you see my car around (It's a Nissan Micra btw ) Who is it on here that is learning to drive? & how r u getting on?

I'm glad i didn't have to do the theory test when i learnt to drive (I passed my test in 1992... god that makes me feel old ). They'd just brought in reverse parallel parking when i did mine!! At the moment i am housewife and mother but am hoping to start my own business in the future as i am a Reiki healer (amongst other things). How did your day go BB?

Go Franky - get your own business started & enjoy it! I used to work nightshifts in a call centre, 84hrs a wk, 7 on - 7 off it was so knackering tho that it took a few days to get over the week I was working (especially as I rarely had more than 4hrs sleep everyday due to kids & school times etc ) I used to go to bed on a Sat @ 10.30am &, if Norwich had a home game that day, be up again & out the door @ 1pm. So although I loved the footie I always felt ill watching it cos I'd only had 2hrs sleep! BUT NOW... I work the hours I want and if the the footie's on I dont book any lessons!

I passed my original driving test in '90 when the reverse parking wasn't included, the test only lasted 25 mins and you were given 5 questions at the end on the Highway Code! It is so much harder now & I do feel sorry for everyone learning BUT at the end of the day, it is making everyone a safer driver when they pass which can only be a good thing! I didn't learn how to do the reverse parking until I started training to be an instructor : :

I think i did my first attempt at a driving test in 90 but failed then didn't bother for a while and once i got back into driving again they'd brought in the reverse parking which i detested having to do, but seeing how much you have to do these days it wasn't so bad really ! I want to be my own boss coz i have problems with authority figures ;D BB is your new job in Norwich or nearer home?

Oh no, we have a Norwich City trouble maker on the boards! I'm gonna have to keep my eye on you Sara! I'm just kidding! I have nothing against Norwich City or there fans, I hope they stay up, so Liverpool have another couple of easy games next season!!!! SOOOOOOORRRRRRYYYYYYY I couldn't resist.... you started it! Anyway, its good to have another footy nut on the boards, and a Gerynut to boot! COOL! I hope you enjoy posting here, i'm going to post something on the "WHO WE ARE & HELP!" Section about posting pictures, I hope it helps, If you want to e-mail me your gery profiles I can add your two gerys to our Profile PageHave you contacted johnny about joining the club "officially"? He will send you out an info pack so you can become a fully fledged GeryNut!! Look forward to chatting with you again, but lets make a deal.... I wont say anything about Norwich "if" they go down, if you don't say anything about Liverpool "if" they lose to Chealsea.... we can leave that to BB and Franky!

OK OK it's a deal BUT Norwich aren't going down anyway & Liverpool won't win that one!! ;D Is this Sunday a Bark in the Park? Can we come? Where do you meet? What time? How long r u usually out for? etc etc My mum & dad are visiting us this weekend with their new baby, Sky the Whippet, I mentioned it to her & we'd all love to join you! This'll be Sky's first trip to Norwich I've sent Johnny a pm about joining up proper, thanks

Ok , i'm gonna ignore that!
I believe Sunday is our 1st official, unofficial "Bark in the Park" Your more than welcome to come, its at Earlham Park, 2pm. I'm sure Johnny can give you better directions than me, as I live in Lowestoft, and don't know the road names!
I don't think BB will be with me but Sophie will be (our Gery!).
I'm glad your gonna join proper, its good to find other people with a common interest!

Great - we'll be there! Although I may have to scoot off early as I already have a driving lesson booked for a little later in the afternoon. (might even be able to put some more ads up at UEA to attract a few more pupils) : : Are dogs allowed on Lowestoft beach? We regulary go to Gorleston and they have a great time there! : :

Ok here's an easy way to unite all three of us..... Hands up if you hate Chelsea! I think its a touch of envy, but I just think it's spoils the challenge of winning things if money is no object and you can buy who you like! I know i'm biased but look at what Liverpool have done this season, they have spent a fraction of Chealsea's millions and they are still in Europe at the same place as Chelsea, I think its a bigger achievement for Liverpool than for Chelsea. I even now apprieciate what Arsenal & Man Utd have done over the years, more than any Chelseas achievements. (god that hurt to say nice things about Arsenal & Man U!). OK yes i'd love it if Liverpool were in Chelsea's position, but I would just feel like a bit of a fraud, you shouldn't be able to "Buy" instant success, you should "Earn" it!.... end of ramble!

DIRECTIONS FOR EARLHAM PARK: For those attending the "Bark in the Park" event - Earlham Park is situated on the south-west of Norwich. If you are coming in from the Gt.Yarmouth direction, you will need to keep on the southern bypass and go past the turning for the A11. The next turning to the left will be a slip road to the B1108. Leave the southern bypass here, and go up and turn right, in the direction of Norwich. You will eventually come to a set of traffic lights - Go straight ahead. You will then go over a river bridge, and you will then be able to see Earlham Park on the right-hand side. Continue up the hill, and take the first turning to the right (signposted to the University). Then take the next turning to the right, which will take you into Earlham Park. The car park is situated on the left. We will aim to meet around the tearoom at 2pm. Kitty & I will probably be there a bit earlier (1pm perhaps?) to indulge in a plate of their scampi & chips!
