After an absence for many years, Kate Bush is back with a new single and a new album. Her single is called "King of the Mountain", and entered the charts at number 4 this week - although I've never heard it played on the radio (surprise, surprise!). Has anyone heard it yet? They say it's her third most successful single of her career (after Wuthering Heights" and "Running up that Hill"). Her album ("Ariel") is released on November 7th, so I'll check that out. Now, I know some people don't go much on Kate Bush, and there are some of the younger generation that might look upon her as an old "frumpy". I don't profess to like all her music, but I do recognise her as being an important part of the female singer/songwriter culture, and I think it's nice that she's a lady with a lot of imagination and a style very much her own. It's also nice to see that she's British as well. Some of her music might be a bit weird, but it's always worth a listen, and her videos (eg "Running up that Hill"), are usually very well made. I'll let you know what I think of the album when I get it. A link to Kate's site is below: www.katebushnews.com/
