We are currently looking at opening up to sponsorship our main website (www.thegeryclub.co.uk).
If sponsorship can be achieved - this will give the club (and Stuart) the ability to increase our website's size and format, and will provide us with the ability to promote our own club more effectively on the internet.
As with all contracts, there has to be some terms and conditions. The ones listed below have been drawn up in the interests of both parties:
Terms & Conditions of Sponsorship:
1. Although the website may be sponsored by a firm, business or group - the website and it's content will remain the property of the Broadland Greyhound & Whippet Club. The content listed on the site will remain in the control of the web designer and the elected committee of the Broadland Greyhound & Whippet Club
2. If a firm, business or group does decide they would like to sponsor the club's website, then the first year will be at an introductory offer of £40.00, with the second year at the amount the website would cost to hire (currently £60 per year).
3. The club will help promote the sponsor's business by establishing a direct link to their site at the top of the home page, and will also offer the sponsor a free pitch at the club's annual fun dog show. They will also have their logo or name printed on the back of the show's programme which will be available to memb.ers of the public on the day.
4. The Broadland Greyhound & Whippet Club reserves the right to choose a sponsor at the end of each year (June-June), or to continue with the support of an existing sponsor. We also reserve the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of the agreement between ourselves and our sponsor - to establish a fair deal that takes into account the needs of both parties.
5. Sponsorship of the website is at the sole discretion of the elected committee of the Broadland Greyhound and Whippet Club, who guarantee to uphold the committments made to the sponsor in paragraphs 2 and 3 above.
6. Type of contract: The contract will be in the form of a verbal agreement, with confirmation via email. The terms and conditions listed here will be displayed on the club's message board site, and issued in the next memb.ers newsletter - to keep them updated with the conditions the committee has established for the sponsorhip of our club's website.
