I've been invited along to pick 12 of my favourite songs for the Norwich local radio station "Future Radio" (website address below): www.futureradio.co.uk/It should be broadcast sometime next week. For your interest, the tracks I've chosen are as follows: 1. Drive to You - Jewel 2. Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles 3. Everywhere - Michelle Branch 4. Songbird - Eva Cassidy 5. Whole of the Moon - The Waterboys 6. Flawless - Kyler England 7. Good Mother - Jann Arden 8. Going Underground - The Jam 9. Bravedancing - Rachael Sage 10. Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel 11. Cold Song - Jewel 12. Echoes - Dar Williams I'll make a "plug" for the club on air. Strange as it may seem - it's probably a little-known fact, that without the song "Everywhere" by Michelle Branch, there wouldn't be a Gery club! Let me explain...................... As you may know, the club was founded by Kitty, myself, Sarah and Stuart back in 2005. Kitty & I met Sarah and Stuart through the UK Michelle Branch site, and we met up for the first time in 2003. Sarah was (and still is) a big Michelle Branch fan, and I was really impressed by Michelle's debut single "Everywhere", when it was played on MTV from 2002 (link to the video below): www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQYmAR0J7sQKitty had always like whippets, and when we met Sophie - it heped us to finally decide to get a dog. The rest (as they say) is history.
