Liverpool went down 1-0 to Norwich with Jeremy goss scoring the last ever goal in front of the kop. But...On Grand National morning a Julian D.icks penalty saw off Ipswich. It turned out to be the last goal from a Liverpool player at the standing kop. So Im thinking Julian D.icks I can't find out if the Goss one was a penalty!

Is there any reason why you asked this one Lowestoft 5, Norwich 0 I believe our first competitive game was an FA Cup preliminary match against Lowestoft Town in the 1902/1903 season which we lost 5-0. Our first win was 4-2 against Beccles Caxton in the Norfolk and Suffolk League the same season. We had played a friendly prior to this against Harwich which ended as a 1-1 draw - I went to the Harwich match (not the 1902 one, the 2002 Centenary one .) P.S. - We're a bit better than that now
