The "All About Dogs Day", at Notcutts, Norwich, hit the headlines today as Peter Purves (former Blue Peter presenter & more recently Crufts presenter) suffered a deep dog bite from a terrier that neccesitated him going off to hospital.

In true style Peter returned to the show after having stitches, and continued until the end.
At the start of the show, he had come and wished us all the best for the day, and had autographed Kitty's Blue Peter annual she had had since 1973.
Peter seems such a nice down to earth guy. Lets hope his wound heals quickly.
