I was reading today, about the current Irish pork meat scare - dioxins have been found at a higher level in Irish pork. Fortunately, as vegetarians this does not effect Kitty & I, but I was generally interested in finding out a bit more about dioxins, and where they are commonly found. I then discovered that dioxins were known causes of increases in cancer, and one of the substances they are commonly found in is chlorine, and, as you know - chlorine is in tap water. So, entering this new information into the search engine, I came up with the following webpage (below) warning of the links between chlorinated tap water and increased risks of cancer. Scary stuff, eh? How many people are aware of this? ezinearticles.com/?Chlorine-and-Cancer:-What-Can-a-Water-Filter-Do-for-You?&id=23998
